Millennial dad. South Florida. Real life.

Living it.
Figuring it
out loud.

No highlight reel. No hustle porn. Just a dad in South Florida trying to get better at all of it — fatherhood, health, money, music, and everything in between.

Not a Blog.
Not a Brand.
Just Honest.

Rad Dad Lyfe started because I couldn't find content that felt like my actual life. Not polished enough to be an influencer, not broken enough to be a cautionary tale. Just a regular dude with a kid, a mortgage, a guitar collection, and a Disney annual pass trying to figure out what "doing well" actually looks like.

This is where I document that process. In public.

"I'm not here to teach you how to dad.
I'm just showing you how I do it — and what I'm still figuring out."

The Four Pillars

01
🦴
Dad Life

The honest version. The part they leave out of parenting content. The exhaustion, the proud moments, the guilt, the wins, and the days you're just surviving. This is fatherhood with no filter.

02
🔥
Health & Reset

Quitting THC. Cutting back on alcohol. Getting back into fitness. Taking mental health seriously. This isn't transformation content — it's process content. Real changes, slow progress, no before-and-after bs.

03
🎸
Gear & Sound

Guitar gear, tone chasing, recording at home, and the way music fits into a life that doesn't have much quiet time. For the dads who still have a pedalboard in the garage and a practice amp next to the pack-n-play.

04
💰
Provider Mode

Life insurance, financial basics, planning for the future without panicking about the present. Not a finance bro. Just a dad who realized he needed to understand money before he could stop stressing about it.

About Me

The short version.

Location South Florida
Role Dad, Writer, Creator
Former life Craft beer publisher
Current mission Building in public
Powered by Coffee & stubbornness

I'm a millennial dad living in South Florida. I've got a daughter whose nickname is Rad — which, if you're wondering, is exactly where the name came from. I'm not going to pretend there was some big strategic insight behind it. She's the whole thing.

For a few years I ran a local craft beer publication called Broward Beer. I liked it. Built something real. But somewhere along the way I realized I was writing for an audience more than I was writing for myself. That's a slow kind of burn-out — the kind where you don't notice until you're already empty.

"I passed on a job that would have made sense on paper. Instead I started this. Make of that what you will."

In the last couple of years I've been on a real reset. I quit THC after leaning on it too hard for too long. I've been deliberately drinking less. I've been taking my health more seriously — not in the CrossFit-cult way, just in the I want to be around for a while way. I started paying attention to my finances like an adult. I started playing guitar again.

Rad Dad Lyfe is me building something new — publicly, imperfectly, in real time. If you're a millennial dad in a similar headspace, this might feel familiar. If you're not, maybe it's still interesting. Either way, I'm not writing to perform. I'm writing because it helps me think, and because maybe some of it lands for someone else.
